Assoc Prof Warut Aunjitsakul
Dr Warut Aunjitsakul is a member of the WPA Psychotherapy Section, membership Committee of Psychiatric Association of Thailand and a leadership of Network of Early Career of Psychiatrist Thailand. He is also part of the Executive Committee of Asian Congress of Schizophrenia Research (ACSR).He attended the Faculty of Medicine, followed by a residency in psychiatry at Prince of Songkla University. Then he continued to train his psychotherapeutic skills, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute Supervision program in 2012, Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at WPA in 2015, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Psychotherapy (MBCT) MBCT at MindfulNoggin by Zindel V Segal in 2020, and CBT for Psychosis at Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre in 2021. He is also interested in research and in 2022 he graduated PhD in Psychological Medicine, School of Health & Wellbeing, University of Glasgow.
His interests are related to developing psychological interventions in psychosis (especially CBT for Psychosis), social anxiety disorder, cross-cultural psychiatry and medical education (especially growth mindset). Now, he is working as a clinical instructor, researcher and clinician at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
